my favorite salad is Bibb lettuce, maybe some cilantro, and a fresh squeezed

lime. Maybe a pinch of salt (kosher, sea, whatever). Yum. A friend of my

daughters calls this 'Sina's lime salad'. amyF

Also some dried fruit is good. I add dried cranberries and dried

blueberries.

Also almonds, cashews, walnuts are good, some flax seeds.

Like blackberries but a little sweeter and ripe sooner in the year

for ppl jonesing for fresh berries :)

Did anyone suggest fresh or frozen green peas for your salad BK? For

lunch I had a salad of spinach, red onion, shrooms & little green

peas with lite ranch dressing.

Peace,

Diane

I just plain do not like it when I cook it, so matter how many ways I have tried

it. I do like the whole foods stuff with tofu in it, LOL, I just don't like it

when I cook it, LOL.

ya know, tofu is not really all that as far as nutrition goes, we don't need all

that protein. I mean if you like the tease, sure why not, but if you are just

eating it for health reasons you need not bother, you know, unless you like it,

LOL.

Ha! Thanks, Chanda I was beginning to think I was wierd! We have an Asian

grill near us where we eat quite often. And on several occasions we have

ordered off the menu instead of the grill. I have had tufu in the meals.

Sorry.....I thought they would know how to cook it. It just tasted like

sponge to me.
