head of it - tastes like the white.... and the

steaming water was purple when it was done....

Hi, I'm new to trying the raw diet, I've read a lot of

what some of you have to say. My question is, what is

a natural or organic ingredient to take to have fresh

breath or take in place of breath mints, chewing gum,

mouth wash and etc.? Would mint leaves work and what

kind of nutrition do they provide?

hi again:

Q. Is purple cauliflower grown in the same way as regular cauliflower?

A. Purple cauliflower is actually a type of broccoli that is purple.

It resembles cauliflower in overall appearance and does not require

blanching. The purple head turns green when cooked.

from: http://www.urbanext.uiuc.edu/veggies/cauliflower1.html

found it (and there are many others also) by typing

" purple cauliflower " (no quotes) into Google...

all the best,

Bob

HI Al!

interesting question...and one I've considered myself.

I've found that if I have odors in my mouth, my body is eliminating

something there, and I prefer not to try and " mask " it, etc..

I've had some decent results by:

1. eating raw;

2. watching my food-combining;

3. using a plastice tongue scraper in the morning;

4. using a soft tootbrush at the gum line;

5. and I use a Waterpik (search for previous posts here for info from

others about it...)

the combination of the above appears to keep any odor down to

a socially acceptable level.

all the best,

Bob
