I have been a wild herb crafter and forager for the last few years. My best

friend is a native American Indian and she teaches classes. We forage

everywhere we go, dry herbs...make tinctures, tonics, teas and remdies with

fresh

herbs. And make food preparations. I'm always learning. There are several

forage lists I'm on.

Diana of Dewberry Hill who has many wild herbs on her mountain

property...and I look at " weeds " wherever I go!

Here's a Web site where you can sign up for a periodic newsletter on

this topic. Sounds interesting. I have no connection to it; heard about

it from an organic gardening group. I just signed up today. - Jan

Hi,

I'd love to know the address of the website.

Judy, strange that you didn't get the URL, which I had included in my

message. I checked the original message again and it was there.

Anyway, I see someone gave it to you. Here it is again in case

anyone else missed it: http://www.wildfoodforagers.org/

There's a sample newsletter on the site that talks about Spiny

Thistle. I can't imagine eating that, or even the topic of the next

newsletter, Chickweed.

Your URL was in your original message but at the time I wrote you I hadn't

seen it. I found it later. I wish I knew how to forage here in Florida.
