Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I'm a new member and joined to ask a question. How would a raw vegan who is fructose intolerant and unable to eat fruit, veggies, or honey that contain fructose obtain all of their nutrients? Thank you, EP
Guest guest
in short, they'd clean their system up so that they were no longer intolerant, and then eat the recommended diet of : " whole, raw, fresh, ripe, organic or better fruits, vegys, and a few nuts and seeds. " being fructose " intolerant " shows a toxic body that needs to be cleaned. look for info here on fasting, and rest. all the best, Bob rawfood , expx2006 <no_reply> wrote: > Hello Everyone, I'm a new member and joined to ask a question. Guest guest
Unfortunately, it's not quite that simple. You're referring to " Dietary " fructose intolerence. I have " Hereditary " fructose intolerence, which means I do not have the enzyme aldolase B to digest fructose. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000359.htm Thanks, EP
Guest guest
I've had a very difficult time finding answers to this question. If anyone has ideas in the future how someone with Hereditary fructose intolerence who can't digest fruits and certain veggies can plan balanced meals please post here in the group. I've emailed a few people and I'm still waiting for answers. I'll also post answers in the group if I hear of anything. Thank you Just trawfood , expx2006 <no_reply> wrote: > Unfortunately, it's not quite that simple. Guest guest
Couple more thoughts: have you " always " had this? as in, since birth? if yes, then I don't have any more suggestions. if no, then suggest consulting a good Natural Hygiene practioner to guide you through a fast to see if your body can recover. As far as the food-combining, if it's the fructose you want to avoid completely, you'd leave out all fruits, I guess. I'm not even sure how one is a raw vegan, and leave out all fruits: you'd end up getting most of your calories from fat/protein, which leads to many other problems. Let us know if you find a solution. all the best, Bob rawfood , expx2006 <no_reply> wrote: > I've had a very difficult time finding answers to this question. Guest guest
Hi Bob, as mentioned earlier it's hereditary/genetic, so yes I've always had this problem. Here is the thing.... I always assumed I was a finicky eater who made bad food choices since I always avoided fruits, most veggies, and various other foods. It wasn't until I tried to adopt a raw food lifestyle, that I learned my problem had a name. After a week or so of eating raw fruits ect I developed severe symptoms which led to testing and/or confirmation of Fructose Intolerence. At least now I have an answer to the problems I've experiened over the years, the problem is that raw foods may not be the path for me.
