Guest guest
HI! I'm slowly getting into Raw; I've been vegetarian since '86. I want to do BETTER! A few questions, please: 1) When I would previously try going Raw, after a while it became PAINFUL to brush my teeth! (no blood, just pain) Why is that and what can I do to prevent this- - without stopping brushing my teeth? 2)Can I use raw foods to detox my body? If so, please elaborate? 3)What's the proper raw foods diet? Instinct? I prefer fruit over veggies! Can you recommend books for this? Thank You! FAITH! Guest guest
Does anyone know where I could find a list of which fruits and veggies are seasonal in my area? Suki
Guest guest
don't know about the bruch problem, never had it, i'd say keep on brushing through any difficulty, hopefully it's just mental/physical (in all ways, not just your teeth) detox and will go away in a reasonable period as you adjust to the diet mentally and physically. of course a raw plant food diet is going to detox your body, it's different for everybody depending on how much physical illness your body possesses and even if you have no obvious illnesses, you still have much unconscious, unseen illness, physical that the body has to heal. i believe in fruit over vegetables because they taste better and seem to be more instinctively food for me than vegetables but i haven't gone completely fruitarian yet. the proper raw food diet is eat only raw plant food, whatever that means to you in your honest mind and i'd recommend spiritual, god pursuits to help you along in this quest. have the faith of a mustard seed. rich rawfood , Faith Nykiel <faithindacubs> wrote: > HI! Hi Faith, AFAIK, the best thing to detox the body and the most natural is Autourine Therapy. (Hope you are not vomiting at this point As you seem to be on a good diet anyway, it will not taste bad at all. It really is a rich mineral drink. It is only the toxins and foul substances we put into the body that make it taste unpleasant or smell foul. But, to a lot of people (through potty training!) find this subject too much, so I'll stop now. -- namaste Neal. ---------- I looked and looked but could not find, there is no I except in m-I-nd. ----------

Guest guest
It must be a secret society then? Guest guest
I was able to join, as were several others. The moderator for that group sent out a welcoming email, mentioning that new folks had signed up, along with the fact that he had to deny some as well. I think it may have something to do with what you write for your reason for joining. It sounds like they need something along the lines of your being an actively committed fruit eater, etc., because they don't want to deal with dabblers or naysayers, so to speak. You might want to try again, Lane, and be more specific about your diet, etc. if you weren't before. Peace, Valerie tev treowlufu <goraw808 wrote: It must be a secret society then? Guest guest
Thank you for the feedback, Tev and Valerie. I said I was a raw fooder and the moderator said she didn't want contraversy in the group. What's wrong with eating raw food? And how does thtat conflict with fruitarian? I'm confused. It also said the decision was final, but you mention trying again. Is that allowed? Thanks. Guest guest
I don't know, Lane...I don't know what other criteria would be used....just seems strange. I think trying again might not hurt; the worst that could happen would be getting denied again. Peace, Valerie Lane Martin <lanie wrote: Thank you for the feedback, Tev and Valerie.
