want raw and chocolate...

Carol Alts raw food book has this recipe and I tired it and it was wild.

Here is what the recipe says with a brief description.

2 avocados

1 cup raw carob powder

1 tablespoon alcohol free vanilla extract

1 teaspoon sea salt

5 dates soaked about 2-3 hours prior to mixing

in the bowl of a food processor use the " S " blade and blend all ingredients

until creamy.

Add water as needed if a lighter consistency is desired. Divide into dishes,

and chill for a few hours prior to eating.

As said by carol alt

the first time I ate an avocado mousse I was shocked. How could the avocado

which makes my favorite guacamole also make my favorite dessert? I cant

explain, you just have to try it..

I tired this and it was pretty good. It tastes like chocolate mouse with a

hint of avocado, but it was pretty good! And I will make it again! I have

only been raw for a little over two weeks so I am just learning too, but this

was good and easy to make~

Another fun dessert for chocolate lovers is chocolate bark.

1 cup coconut oil

¾ cup raw carob powder

1 cup raisins

The next time I make this I will soak my raisins and run everything

through a food processor. The carob and oil mix is rather bitter

without the raisins. I also add nuts. Stick it on waxed paper and put

in the fridge. Yummy!

Blessings…Melody

I forgot, add a couple teaspoons of alcohol free vanilla or add some

peppermint to it too.

i read some of it and went to some raw group once that used it as

part of there program. i'm also signed up their . it's

okay information but i have other favorite reading material and it's

not really necessary for me, i find the ideas in it average.

i am a big advocate of the twelve-steps programs twelve steps.

so what's up judy, what do you think of the book. i believe it was

authored by a russian woman who tours around with her family, i have

you seen them on tour?

what else do you incorporate into your raw life?
