Guest guest
I have not been officially diagnosed with LGS but I have the symptoms, so I believe I have it. I still feel sluggish after some meals, but not most as before, but that was right from the beginning. So I think the better quality food helps, but it seems if the quality is too high then it affects me like bad food, such as a superfood smoothie or something. So how long does it take the average person to get healed from LGS? If anyone could share their personal experiences that would be great too. Thanks. Guest guest
Hey again Minnie, Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question and I don't know that anyone could, since we are all different and dealing with different issues within our bodies. One person's body may heal itself of LGS in 2 months, another in 6 months, and yet another in a year. It depends on many factors. Do you have other imbalances that need correcting? There may also be unknown conditions that your body is healing as we speak, so this is not a definite thing. Also, what other avenues are you taking for self-healing? Do you do yoga, meditate, exercise regularly, practice de-stressing activities, purify your home and work environment with air filters, filter your shower water? This is not to say that you have to do all of those things. It's to show the variety of ways that people go toward healing, which is why no one can say how long it will take your body to heal itself. Your first question also asked for a timeframe. And I guess it's a natural question, but I think that your body would heal much better and more quickly if you just embrace every single day of the experience. Keep a journal, pay attention to what your body tells you every day. How is your body thanking you today for the nutrition and nurturing that you gave it yesterday? Those are the things that are important. How is your skin different today? Is your breathing smoother and deeper today? Energy up? Smile wider? If you focus on the day that you are in, and do your best without stressing yourself out about tomorrow, what you should have done last week, or why you are where you are, I think that you'll be surprised at how quickly you will heal. Just remember that it's just as much mental as it is physical. Tell yourself every day that you are healing, and believe it. Instead of telling yourself every day that you have LGS and it's been proven by the medical establishment, start thinking instead that you have a digestive imbalance that your body is in the process of healing. These small things make a difference. Never say " my LGS " or " my heart attack " for example. These terms make your take ownership of something that you do not want to possess. So you have to get rid of these things mentally in addition to physically. You are on your way Minnie! Here's to good health (large glasses of green juice clinking). May you heal on every level, in every way, and with the greatest of speed!
