Guest guest
Yes. I hear most of you. It is really expensive to eat healthy in this country, not to mention the difficulty in buying fresh fruits and vegetables. I have a question about blender. I am thinking of buying one finally. Could any of you recommend some good quality but are too expensive ones? I notice that lots of people bought vitamix.. How does it work? Good? Thank you very much
Guest guest
Allison - The difference in blenders is their wattage. Sure, you can buy a blender for $30 with 35o watts of power, but how long will it last you? Those burn out quickly, especially if you're trying to grind anything substantial. I know - I really tortured a Black & Decker last Fall... That's why I bought a commercial grade blender - the Vitamix - at 1375 watts!! I LOVE my vitamix!! It's more than a blender - it's also a food processor if you pay attention to the instructions:) AND if you call in your order directly to vitamix, they can put you on a three month payment plan with a credit or debit card. It has a 7 yr warranty, and can pulp seeds, cores and most peels along with the fruit, so you're getting better nutrition. It makes soups, salsas, smoothies, and ice cream - just to name a few things:) I bought the red Vitamix 5000. It was $419 plus shipping (white and black models are $20 cheaper). Broken down in three payments it's not that hard;) Check them out at www.vitamix.com. Debra rawfood , Allison Zhang <allison_zhang wrote: > > Yes. I hear most of you. Guest guest
I've heard that vitamix is great, but that " total blend " is much better. Check this out and compare the two: http://www.rawguru.com/vita-mix/vitamix-blender-blendtec-comparison-chart.html Debra Thompson <Debrathompson wrote: Allison - The difference in blenders is their wattage.
