Guest guest
Hello: I am a sort of new list member. I have been working quietly behind the scenes to see what all has already been said. Today, I became the proud owner of an Excalibur Dehydrator. It is too big to set up in my small New York City apartment without some planning (I got the 5-tray model), so I probably won't do anything with it until the weekend. I have time to plan my attack. As is my wont, I am researching. If you have a dehydrator, what is the first thing you dehydrated? I have some ideas, but it would be interesting to see what other people have done first. I will compose any responses received into a file for the list files section, so that the next person who wonders will be able to find an answer quickly and easily. Thank you Blessings Margaret
Guest guest
I would do fruit, bannas and apples, they go great with almond butter, a perfect snack. Guest guest
Wll, that all depends but for me, I always like to have a good supply of flaxseed crackers on hand. I buy the golden type, and put carrot pulp, broccoli cilantro, celery , bell peppers, etc celtic sea salt (sparingly) and if you like it spicey well throw it in. You can eat this with all kinds of good stuff on it and it keeps for a while. I take it with me when backpacking etc. Robert > > Oyafunke <oyafunke > 2006/02/21 Tue PM 06:38:06 PST > rawfood > Re: [Raw Food] the first thing you dehydrated? > >
