Guest guest
Are any of you familiar with him? I read his book " God's Way To Ultimate Health " and was inspired to try the raw food diet. I found his book and testimonies fascinating. I heard about him and his book from a Lorainne Day tape that I have. I REALLY found her fascinating. WOW!. Belinda
Guest guest
Yes! That's how I got started on my journey to raw! I love the Hallelujah Acres ministry! It's so wonderful. My dad was 'cured' of diabetes by consuming only carrot juice and water, which was recommended by a friend of his who happened to be a Health Minister. That's how I first learned about HA. Guest guest
Thank Laura, I have been wondering if that book full of recepies was any good. Malkmus > It's helping me w/my conversion. I'm not 100% raw right now I'm still converting to 100% vegan then I'll be going raw. The book has some examples of menus for children which I use as a guide for my boys. I am a big menu person and the examples for children and the regular menu has really been a big help to me. > > ~ Laura > > Belinda <MistyBlueTN wrote: > Are any of you familiar with him? Guest guest
i have a hard time believing that a raw food " diet " is going help anyone. i thimk it's a raw food " lifestyle " that's gonna do the trick. diets just don't work. if they did there would be " A " diet, not a diet " industry " . eat less(!), exercise more(!!) and " live " raw. Guest guest
What is the difference in a raw food lifestyle and a raw food diet? Either way, one would be eating primarily or completely raw foods. No? Guest guest
I think it's just a matter of wording and/or mind-set. Some people just hate the word 'diet' when referring to raw foods because it is intended to be a lifestyle, a long-term, life-long change in the way we live. Not necessarily just what we eat either, but also pure water to drink, sunshine, fresh air, exercise, etc. But basically I think some people just don't like it being called a 'diet'. It's just the way you word it sometimes, but *most* people use the words interchangeably, in my experience. Cindy i have a hard time believing that a raw food " diet " is going help anyone. i thimk it's a raw food " lifestyle " that's gonna do the trick.
