I used to use whey, then switched to Nutritional-Yeast. Here is an example of how Nutritional-Yeast has been used in the industry with the product called " Parma! " http://www.eatintheraw.com/ Once again, I just use regular Nutritional-Yeast bought in bulk. About 4-1/2 years ago I threw together this site for the guys I lift wieghts with to get them off of meat as a source of protein. http://wiliweld.com/yeast/ Namaste -- Bill Schoolcraft | http://wiliweld.com " If your life was full of nothing but sunshine, you would just be a desert. Guest guest
I used to use nutritional yeast when in the good old days i creved for a cheesey substitute. I now believe that overall yeast is harmfull to your body. Yes it has lots of Bvitamins etc but being raw don't we get lots of b from plenty of other sources? robert w > > Bill Schoolcraft <Bill > 2006/03/05 Sun PM 01:45:31 EST > rawfood > Re: [Raw Food] Whey protein? Guest guest
We'd get B-12 if we grew our own food and didn't wash it before we ate it. There are some out there who say that we should wait until we have symptoms of peripheral neuropathy before we supplement with B- 12. I don't know. I still have a huge bag of Red Star but I've lost all desire to put it in anything.
