Guest guest
Hi... I have a new Vizsla puppy and have started on the raw diet. I am still wondering if I made the correct choice. I have seen some great ads...(I know they are ads) for " organic " dog food and now wonder if that would have been a better way to go. I guess I am getting confused...because I now realize I have to watch the C:P ratio and don't know if I am aware of EVERYTHING this sweet puppy needs. Thanks in advance for your help. Guest guest
I have a cat that I've transitioned to a raw diet. I get prepared frozen medallions (Prairie brand). It's 95% meat and 5% plant foods which is supposed to mimic what she would get if she hunted for her food. Based on her age and weight, she is supposed to eat three medallions but she usually ends up eating four. She likes the beef and lamb the best. She'll tolerate the venison but I have to let her get really hungry so she'll eat the chicken/turkey blend. I got her some chicken necks, too, but she isn't used to having to work for her food so they've bombed. I've tried feeding her chicken breast and stew beef but she doesn't like that at all. I've heard of people feeding their cats and dogs a vegan diet but that would be like someone making me eat raw meat.
