Grade B is the second run with more minerals plus more maple taste. It is more suitable for the diet and is less expensive. Grade C is the third run with even more minerals and still stronger taste of maple and slightly less pleasant for most people, although acceptable in the diet. It is lower in price. You can get B grade maple syrup in most health food stores. I have seen A grade in our local supermarkets. I found this web vendor by googling Grade B Maple Syrup. They even mention the Master Cleanser. http://owgd3.onewebgroup.net/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD & Store_Code=piece\ sofvermont & Product_Code=GBK032 The price at this vendor is reasonable (I don't know about the shipping though. You can probably find others. You will likely find Grade B maple syrup locally if you decide that you want it. A quart of maple syrup goes a long way. You can use it for cooking, and it will keep in your refrigerator for a long while. One quart is more than enough for a 10 day Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet. > I really need to detox my body The Master Cleanser is one of the easiest and fastest detoxes I know of. You have to want to do it, and you have to do it, and not look for ways not to do it. There are probably other systems, with pills or something, to do a detox, but I am happy with the Master Cleanser, which detoxes all of the organs, not just the colon and the liver. I have had consistently good results with it. Yes, the taste is a little " different " , but... it's only 10 days, and I can deal with it, in light of the results I get so easily. Guest guest
It would be nice to get an indepth analysis of Agave syrup. May be it is acceptable as a maple syrup substitute. I normally avoid maple syrup as it is far from raw. They cook the dickens out of it in order to get the final product. Also, I really question the Master cleans (Not having read the booklet mind you) I just would not put salt in my system to make it cleans out my organs etc. I am not questioning the results. It seems to me too harsh of a treatment. I feel that by being raw for a longtime your body will have the capacity to repair and cleans itself from all negative substances. A colonic is as extreme of a treatment that I would feel comfortable with. Just my opinion. The big item in raw is that our bodies have the capacity to look after us if we just give it a chance through proper nutrition. I see vitamins etc in the same category. All unnatural shock treatments. Probably good for people that live the SAD diet as their body does not get the raw diet benefits. But for me that logic just does not apply. Just another perspective. Guest guest
I would like to know if the syrup Yacon would be even better then the agave... it is a raw syrup that is digested better by the body..a description of it.. A lush, full-bodied vegan sweetener with lots of character. (Tastes just like caramel & molasses in raw ice creams.) Finally, a raw organic syrup suitable for all raw dessert dishes! Read more info at website below.. http://www.rawganique.com/Food-organic-yacon-syrup.htm One more thing... I do not have any affiliation to the website mentioned. I just got the info from there.. rbwest01 wrote: It would be nice to get an indepth analysis of Agave syrup. May be it is acceptable as a maple syrup substitute. Guest guest
Peace All - I'm new to the list and I wanted to add on to this topic. My name is Faatma and I live in Denver and have been 100% Raw for 4 months and have been on the raw journey for a few years now... anyway, I have a booklet on the master cleanse, I don't know if its " the " booklet, but mine says black strap molasses, not maple syrup, because of its ability to pull toxins and residue from the colon. But I'm not sure if molasses is raw. Brings words and photos together (easily) with PhotoMail - it's free and works with Mail.

Stanley Burroughs has gone to his reward. Meanwhile, his Master Cleanser works AS IS. If you read his book, he discusses the reasons that it works. The book is still Healing for the Age of Enlightenment: Balanced Nutrition Vita Flex Color Therapy (ISBN: 0963926217) Amazon has it for $9.24 new. Burroughs also wrote a shorter book, which just deals with the Master Cleanser (I recommend the longer book).Amazon has it new for $6.50 The Master Cleanser has been used as described in Burroughs' book for years in Europe and the U.S. The way I figure it is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Part of the reason that we have gotten ourselves into nutritional messes is the constant desire to *change* everything. You can do what you will, but I am not going to mess with this time-proven recipe. > Also, I really question the Master cleans (Not having read the > booklet mind you) I just would not put salt in my system to make it > cleans out my organs etc. READ THE BOOK. Or go via some other method. It does seem that the Master Cleanser is not for you. If it is not for you, then you should not do it. You should find some other method or develop your own. > I am not questioning the results. It seems to me too harsh of a > treatment. Why don't you just go for a colonic then? Someone else can manipulate your colon and put a lot of water in and take it out again, and you can pay for that to be done. It is simple and easy, and you don't have to deprive yourself of anything except a couple of hours. Some treatments are not for the everyone.
