I did a search on google and found this article.

http://www.mkprojects.com/pf_guidetohealthyeatingandliving.htm

I read through some of it and skipped other parts. The part on salt cravings

stated that a person may be defecient in trace minerals found in salt. I am no

expert and I have no idea who the person is that wrote this article but lots of

what I read made sense to me. I hope this helps or answers at least some of your

question.

Have a great day,

Heather

Great to know, and humor aside but back to the original question --> What

about salt cravings?

If it is the trace minerals, you should be sure to get either Celtic or

Himalayan salt as they have the most trace minerals.

It probably means that you need something like more celery in your diet.

Since I am the queen of no salt, I notice salt in my food right away

(yuck!!!), and I also notice cravings for it quickly (what? salt?)

I constantly have to adjust cookbook recipes to eliminate salt.

As a result, if I want salt, I notice it as something weird.

i have noticed that celery juice seems to be way high in sodium.

Also, whatever is in my flaxseed/corn/green pepper/hot

pepper/daikon/garlic crackers is " salty " (and I am not adding anything

-- I get thirsty right away.
