Guest guest
I am thinking that if I marinated some mushrooms in...something...then pureed it, I could easily smear it on, then roll it up in lettuce leaves and that might be something I'd enjoy eating. I'm just clueless as to how to make a marinade that would be raw. I was thinking something with lemon in it. Does anyone have a recipe or an idea I could try? The simpler the better! Thanks! Guest guest
I asked the same question on a private forum and the suggestions I got were lemon juice, olive oil, nama shoyu. I try not to use much olive oil. I don't use nama shoyu. The lemon juice just made them sour. If someone can figure something out, I'd like to know, too. I don't care for raw mushrooms by themselves. Roger makes pate with them. Maybe he can suggest something. I know the big portabello mushrooms make a good raw pizza but that's a whole other thing. Guest guest
Sorry. I was going to answer this last night but my dialup bandwidth went down to nothing and I gave up. It's unpasteurized soy sauce. Not good. Full of excitotoxins. So is Braggs which I'm trying to quit using. So is yeast extract. And the list goes on and on. On the other hand, there are things that I have added that I never even considered in the past like sprouts, seeds, raw chocolate, gogoji berries, bee pollen and sea veggies. Fortunately, with my much decreased appetite there is more than enough to satisfy me. Tammy
Guest guest
Plus, if we ate a new (to us) fruit or veggie every day, we'd never live long enough to try them all. Eating can be such a neat adventure!
