Guest guest
I began the Master Cleanse yesterday, and although I found it hard, it was getting a bit easier and I thought I'd be able to continue on. Then I had a doctor's appointment tonight, a follow up for my sprained ankle, and she's concerned that it's broken - I need a bone scan and to take Naproxen. Naproxen needs to be taken on a full stomach My doctor said that I have to take it to reduce the inflammation because it would could cause permanent damage. So I guess no more Master Cleanse for me. It's a real disappointment because I feel these two days (and those rigorous salt water flushes) were a total waste. Jen
Guest guest
Jen - don't be discouraged for heaven sakes!! Now you know you can do it - so just wait and do it again. You'll need to flush out that Naproxen anyway! Guest guest
Not a total waste, just not as complete as you would have liked. You can always do it again when all is back to normal. Guest guest
Thanks for the encouragement. I guess I was hoping that the MC would be a turning point for me - I haven't had the willpower to eat raw for more than a day - it's a good day for me if I even have a fruit breakfast! I was really hoping I could do the MC to detox and when returning to food I would be motivated to make raw choices. I just don't seem to be able to right now. rawfood , " Judy Cozza " <judycozza wrote: > > Jen - don't be discouraged for heaven sakes!! > Now you know you can do it - so just wait and do it again. > > You'll need to flush out that Naproxen anyway! > Judy > > On 3/20/06, Tanlathiel <jencorris wrote: > > > > I began the Master Cleanse yesterday, and although I found it hard, it > > was getting a bit easier and I thought I'd be able to continue on. > > Then I had a doctor's appointment tonight, a follow up for my sprained > > ankle, and she's concerned that it's broken - I need a bone scan and > > to take Naproxen. Guest guest
Jen, How ironic! I started the master cleanse yesterday too. I'm just modifying it a bit (like having a shot of wheatgrass today) Sorry that you'll have to wait another time. Keep trying to eat healthy, you have support! Love, The other Jen ;-) Tanlathiel <jencorris wrote: I began the Master Cleanse yesterday, and although I found it hard, it was getting a bit easier and I thought I'd be able to continue on. Guest guest
No it wasn't a waste, you got some benefit.. however small.... When you do it again it won't be such a surprise you will be an old hand Sand Tanlathiel <jencorris wrote: I began the Master Cleanse yesterday, and although I found it hard, it was getting a bit easier and I thought I'd be able to continue on.
