Guest guest
Hemp hearts are the meat of the hemp seed once it has been shelled. They are very tasty. They were my major source of protein for my first four months of being raw. Guest guest
So, they'd be the same as hulled hemp seed? What I've bought is pretty expensive. Do you have a source with a good (read this " cheap " ) price? Guest guest
http://www.healing-source.com/ Yes, they are hulled hemp seeds. I don't know what you consider cheap but this source has them for $15 Canadian/pound. They ship to the US, you would need to check their prices. When you consider that 1/4 cup is 15 grams of protein the price isn't bad. They have some charts that compare hemp to other products. It is the only one I know that has all three EFA's with a ratio that is very close to ideal. Tammy On Mar 21, 2006, at 9:17 AM, jerushy1944 wrote: > So, they'd be the same as hulled hemp seed? Guest guest
I looked them up and they are what we know as hemp seeds. That's what I put on my salad. They are very good and have a rather buttery taste, to me. Shari
