Guest guest
Hi All, This may be too much detail for some people... I started the Master Cleanse on Sat night with the tea...then had to stop on Monday night when I ate a meal so I could take my prescription (as I told everyone). Now it's Wednesday, and I haven't had an elimination since Monday morning with the salt water flush! I'm getting kind of concerned because I've never gone this long before in my life without going to the bathroom (other than urination). I've only eaten raw since coming back to food on Monday night (I know I'm eating a cooked meal tonight though). Does anyone know why I'd be having this problem? Thanks! If on Monday, the wash was as thorough as I know it must have been (lol) with what you ate, there might not be a bowel movement just yet as it has to go throught the system first, however, YOU DO know the best meals to break a fast are mono-meals of a seasonal juicy fruit (eg apples <organic> and maybe 5-6 medium sized dates (about 10 minutes afterwards) Trust me, even when I don't fast that combo (if eaten at night especially) flushes me right out. According the Arnold Ehret's book, the fruit sugars will loosen up the debris and for a great intestinal broom, you can try a rib of celery or a few leaves of lettuce about 5 minutes after the dates. This works!!! 2. Another good laxative meal that would flush you out within several minutes after (even during consumption) will be -Boiled Russet Potatoes (organic) -Avocadoes (Haas) -Dash of Sea-Salt (the same you must have used for the flush: uniodized, right there in the Condiments aisle of 'Wholefoods) 3. Question, did you use " Smooth Move " laxative tea, from my experience that is the best out there and stays active within for a few days after its last use? Oh and the next time you want to fast, you could substitute Valencia oranges for all those lemons, (it actually works better and of course has more juice for the $ and tastes a whole lot better, think about it I don't think nature intended that all those lemons be consumed in one day considering its taste! You also don't need cayenne pepper for this combo as well! ) Lastly, AVOID MICROWAVES my friend. I fasted and had horrible experiences using this device. I'll post a fasting article in a few hours but let me know if this information was helpful. I'm not sure what kind of tea it was - they didn't have Smooth Move at my store so I used some other kind of mild laxative tea.

Guest guest
The same thing happened to me after ending the fast. It took a couple of days for things to get back to normal. Guest guest
The first time I did the Master Cleanse, I CHOSE to break it (there is no HAVE TO) after 4 days. SO... I STARTED AGAIN.... I had no problems... It was just like the first day. Okay, silly me, I did not modify the Master Cleanse in any way at all. I did the herbal laxative tea each night, and I did the 1 quart of saline (water and sea salt) each morning (within 15-20 minutes of mixing it), and I did not ingest ANYTHING ELSE besides the " lemonade " and water, and I had AT LEAST 100 oz of the lemonade daily (10 10 oz. servings) The first day was a surprise!!!! I got all this water and gunk coming out (it came out from where a bowel movement would come out of so I counted it as a movement-- perhaps I was silly. I had that happen twice that morning. When I got to work, I had it happen again, but it was fast-- I mean, how many times can 1 quart of water come out and how long can it take?? It was so much easier than what was " normal " before I started that I almost decided to live on the Master Cleanser that first day. I did not fear for not having enough food or not having enough energy. Silly me!!!! I believed what Burroughs said in his book. I found it to be on target... silly me!!!! I was not looking for it to not work!!! I CHOSE to stop my fast after 4 days because there was food I wanted to eat. Silly me!!!!!!! I CHOSE to stop it to eat something I CHOSE to eat. I started immediately after I ate that food!!! I easily finished 10 days I started again! Silly me!!!! I followed the Master Cleanser instructions to a T. I had no problems... I had no energy loss. I had no hunger. I did not die. I did not cheat. I did not add anything. Silly me!!!!!!! The durned thing worked for me. I have done it many times since. Silly me!!!!!! It has never ever ever occurred to me to alter the formula or the procedure. I has always worked well and easily for me. I will do it again and again and again !!!!!in the prescribed way!!! with no alterations or modifications. silly me!!!!!!! I have had very good success with the Master Cleanser. Guest guest
I followed the instructions exactly as well, and while I was on it, it worked very well. I wish I didn't have to go off it, but I DID have to - to take my prescription. As soon as I am off the prescription, I will definitely start the fast again. I was very disappointed that I had to stop. rawfood , " Margaret Gamez " <mgamez1 wrote: > > The first time I did the Master Cleanse, I CHOSE to break it (there is > no HAVE TO) after 4 days. > SO...
