Just thought I'd jump in here. I insist on a restaurant with a great salad bar

( all you can eat) so I can tank up on greens and fresh veggies and fruits. You

can always bring a baggie of homemade croutons or crackers or nut pate to make

your meal more 'substantial'.

My family went out like this just last week. I was stuffed going through the

salad bar twice! LOL. The salad was always my favorite part of the meal anyways.

My kids too. <G>

Thats what I tell my hubby.

He doesnt eat raw...I am doing it mainly to help battle graves disease. I feel

worse when I eat cooked food, so I am almost forced to stay raw.

Anyways...my hubby likes to go out once in a while and I always tell him I dont

care where we go....as long as they have a decent salad bar where I can make it

my self...

Luckily in las vegas...there are salad bars as far as the eye can see...LOL!!!

Hi Pam and Sherry,

Can either of you think of a FAVORITE salad bar in Vegas? I plan on going

there in a few months. Thanks!

all the major hotels have buffets that have super salad bars. There are also a

few raw food restaurants in town, one is a short cab ride from the strip.

(maybe $15 each way for up to 5 people at once)

But on top of that, all the hotels have specialty restaurants and most of them

will make you anything you want upon request. We have to go to a lot of

business dinners on and near the strip and I always call ahead and tell them

when I am coming in and what I would like, and they have ALWAYS been more than

eager to accommodate my requests (although I keep it simple).

Viva Las Vegas....

Graham-which is just south of Puyallup. We had to be close to Ft. Lewis.... of

course if it weren't for the Army I wouldn't have moved here for a million

bucks! LOL

Rains too much for my tastes. <G>

The place in Las Vegas is called Go Raw. There are actually two both owned by

the same people. Apparently the same menu. I have only gone to the westsode

place which is in the Lakes area. One street south of W. Sahara Ave. I think

around 8800 West Sahara and then one block south. Just west of Decatur. Hope

it helps. It's a good place.

Thanks, Linda!

I did a search for raw food restaurants a while back in Vegas, but nothing

turned up, so that's why I asked the group if anyone has a favorite one for

salad bars - although I forgot to mention " organic a plus " !
