Guest guest
I am seriously contemplating buying the Jack La Lane juicer. He is having a nice sale on them and the demo I watched looks pretty good.... Anyone have one? Is it all it says it is? Thanks! New Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
I used to have 2 of his Juiceman Jr.'s in the early 1990's...one was a gift from a family member who knew I wanted one and the other my late grandmother passed onto me. I gave one away to a wonderful friend who I thought needed it during his health problems, and as far as I know, he still uses it today! Unfortuately in early 2002 my remaining juicer was stolen with everything else I owned. As most of my family, friends and co-workers are " health-trend-haters " , and since that 2002 'heist', it wasn't until 3 months ago when my Veiled Chameleon became terminally ill and had to go on an all-liquid diet that I could justify, to those who critically judge my health habits against my income yet loved my Chameleon, getting another juicer. (As if I could read their minds: " Oh, you gullible health-trend follower, you better not buy all this fancy, expensive ORGANIC produce AND a juicer to prevent disease - HA HA HA, how foolish, how can we trust you based on how you spend your money?! But your poor little sweet dying Chameleon - we understand NOW " ). It was a Jack La Lane Professional Juicer, and I LOVE it so much more than the last 2 because it's quieter and has a larger feeding shute and 2 speed settings! Now, I haven't had ANY experience with any other kind of juicer, but I'm thinking of trying a certain wheat grass juicer that also juices other fruits and vegetables (because I want an all-in-one juicer). I'll have to look up the post about it that was made in this group a couple of months ago, so when I find it I'll re-send it. -Tiffany Bad Dobby <dobeythehouseelf wrote: I am seriously contemplating buying the Jack La Lane juicer. Guest guest
I just got the Jack La Lane juicer from the TV sale too and I like it. It is sturdy, the big feeder shute is great, and you can juice large quantities at a time because the pulp shoots out the back. I have a smaller Panasonic that I have had for years and it has been a good juicer too. Guest guest
I have the Jack La LAne juicer. It works fine. I am not sure if it does all it claims to do to do. I was not aware it could do anything but juice. I like it. I do sometimes miss having one of the juicers with more features/functions like the Champion. So many recipes call for a juicer with a blank screen or one that homogenizes and as far as I can figure out Jack La Lanes does not. Guest guest
I have his juicer (the white plastic one). It works pretty well, but the pulp is damp. The top doesn't fit tightly as it should. I saw that it has been redesigned (better??) and the new one has a stainless body now. It's a good " starter " juicer. I use it for carrots, pineapple, oranges, etc. Haven't tried green things in it yet. ~Amber - > I am seriously contemplating buying the Jack La Lane juicer.
