Hey, I have been raw off and on for about a year now (more on than

off, but I've had my relapses!)...I was wondering if anyone

experiences blurred vision...I am eating lots of carrots, grapes, etc.

but for the last few weeks my vision has been blurry. I hope I don't

need glasses!! Could this be some sort of vitamin deficiency? Does

anyone know??

Thanks!

Hi rawjules,

How's your urine output? Feeling tender in the kidneys? I

know a young person who experienced sudden blurry vision

followed by kidney failure. I don't want to scare you, just

didn't want to not say anything, because saying something

could prevent you or others from untold suffering. Very

unlikely, but still possible....

Another possibility: do you wear glasses? If so, your

prescription could be IMPROVING due to your excellent diet.

You might need to get your prescription reduced. Happened to

me!

Blessings,

Jennifer

Thank you for the input! I am not having problems with my kidneys or urination,

thankfully...in fact, I have never felt better in my entire life! I do not

currently wear glasses, either...maybe I need them!! :-(

Hi rawjules,

May I ask you age. Many folks need glasses to read as they get a

little older. My vision problems began in my late 30s and by 40 I

needed mild over the counter reading glasses. It would be a good

idea to go and get your vision tested.

I am only 28...but i do think i need to get checked out. Another thing I've

noticed is I seem to have overly sensitive eyes, which I never had

before...maybe its my allergies??

Do you have problems regulating your body temperature? By this I mean, if

everyone else is warm are you cold? or if everyone else is cool, are you hot?

And....have you noticed any dramatic changes in your weight and or do your hands

tremble at all?

Let me know...

I've noticed my hands are always cold (never used to be!), and my armpits are

more clammy...I know that's absolutely discusting but I'm just being honest!

I've never had any problems with that before!! I have lost about 10 lbs but

that's all....my hands do not tremble at all.

How many, and what kind of carrots is lots? I have burred vision unless

I eat 2 large (about 10 oz.) juicing carrots each day. Juicing carrots

are more nutrient dense because the plant had time to mature and send

its roots deep for minerals.

If you get yellow skin, it should be temporary - Norman Walker, Diet &

Salad p. 94:

.... I have found this to be the result of the coagulated bile in the

liver dissolving so fast that sluggish kidneys and bowels were not able

to take care of its elimination quickly enough resulting in the lymph

carrying this excess debris to the surface for elimination through the

pores of the skin. ...

I'm almost fifty and my eyesight is better when I eat raw than when I

was twelve and had to get glasses after being a bookworm. The

improvement in my night vision is especially noticeable.

I also get temporary blurriness when I am stressed, especially if I

don't want to look at an issue I need to address. Eyes carry tension

just like other parts of the body.

There are eye exercises (basically moving the eyes so they get exercise

shifting focus) that are helpful especially when reading or using the

computer. I practice them when I go for walks so that I remember to do

them.
