Guest guest Posted April 6, 2006 Report Share Posted April 6, 2006 They really were excellent - I thought the recipe was listed with the others but it's not:( From what I can remember though... he used a mandolin to slice red onions very thin. He then put it in a marinade that had dates (for the sweetness) and nama shoyu (for the sasaltiness) - he might have added some lemon juice or vinegar as well, I can't remember I'll post a message to the Toronto group to see if anyone else there wrote it down.
