Wheatgrass Bath

One of the things that I love about working at a Living Foods Institute is

the abundance of fresh wheatgrass.

One of my favorite uses of wheatgrass juice is on the skin.

Our skin is the largest organ of toxin elimination, larger than the colon

and the liver combined.

In the morning I like to take 12 oz. of fresh wheatgrass juice into the

shower with me. Before I turn on the water, I stand in the tub and start to

dribble the wheatgrass into my scalp and massage it in. I massage more and

more into until it starts to run down the side of my head. Then I just start

to massage it into my skin. I am very careful not to spill a drop. I keep

dribbling it on my skin and massaging it in until every inch of my skin is

covered. My skin can hold almost two cups of fresh wheatgrass without

running off, but 12 oz is enough to cover.

After I have covered my entire body in wheatgrass and it starts to dry, I

just turn on the shower and wash it off.

About three hours later, I feel this immense rush of feeling AMAZING. I

often have already forgotten my wheatgrass bath of the morning and I wonder

to myself why do I feel so GREAT, then I remember the wheatgrass. I cannot

recommend this enough. Your skin does the majority of toxin elimination for

your body and you can scrub the whole thing with fresh wheatgrass juice.

I personally don't think there is a better way to take wheatgrass.

BTW, Dr. Ann Wigmore started doing this daily when she 60 with white hair

and after doing it daily for two years, her hair went back to the same red

color it was when 19 and stayed that way until her death at age 84.

Anybody else have any raw skin treatments?

I have long loved to use mashed avocado to moisturize the skin. One word of

advice, NEVER USE IT AS A SHAVING CREAM!

Thanks, Tom!

What a great idea. On the thought of our skin absorbing wheatgrass, I have a

question I hope you or somebody else would be able to help me with:

When I sweat while exercising, could my skin absorb any of it or the toxins

back in? I'm afraid that if the toxins can sweat out, why wouldn't they be able

to get absorbed back in? Especially since our skin can absorb toxic elements in

commercial lotions and SLS from shampoos!

Wow, the wheatgrass bath sound great. Qestions

Where do you all get your wheatgrass juice? Do you grow your own

wheatgrass and juice it yourselves? Buy they wheatgrass and juice it

your selves?

Another question on commercial lotions and creams. What do you all

use in place of commercial lotions? Have you found a way to make

your own? I know there are lots of good and safe oils to use. Like

olive oil, nut oils, grapeseed oils, etc., but I prefer lotions as

they are not so greasy.
