Guest guest
Here is the Email, I sent: Hi Jinjee and Storm, I want to thank you for your daily raw inspiration. It is much appreciated. Today I was surfing through some of the free video's at google having to do with food. And I happened upon a interesting short 4 minute video called FOOD WAR. Link is here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1110875724575217373 & q=FOOD & pl=true It's a home video of a young infant being fed, a typical cooked food meal. Putting up much resistance as to food being lovingly presented by the parent. In watching it. I sensed that, I could feel the infants objections to the cooked food it was being forced to consume. Take a peek at the video. I was wondering how your infant children behave when they were first being introduced to living foods. Did they accept them easily or did you struggle to get them to eat like the baby in the video? I think instinctivly all infants know that cooked food is bad for them. That's why parents have such a hard time feeding them cooked foods in the early months of their lives. What are your thoughts. I'd love to hear them. Sincerely, Daniel Duke Raw since January 2004. http://blog.myspace.com/danielinthelionsden ______ ______ JINGEE'S RESPONSE: Thanks I’ll check out that video – and yes, I came up with the same theory about why people have such a hard time feeding babies – the traditional picture is one of babies throwing their food out of their high chairs and smearing it all over, getting very little in their mouths. I think the babies are naturally disgusted by cooked foods. My babies were started on raw foods and they ate their food with such reverence – I even took pictures you can see here - http://thegardendiet.com/shalecado.html I think that over time the babies learn to eat the cooked food primarily because they are not offered much of anything else and also because they get addicted to the toxins in the cooked foods. But take any baby and for their first solid food meal put out a plate of mashed/strained fresh fruit and a plate of cooked baby food and 100% of the time they will go for the fruit. The smell, the aura, the flavor, everything is better, and of course so is the nutrition. Best, Jinjeee http://thegardendiet.com Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min. Guest guest
I think it depends a lot on where you live, and when your child was born...my son was born in London, and he loved his warming porridges and soups. rawfood , Daniel Duke <danielrduke wrote: > > Here is the Email, I sent: > > Hi Jinjee and Storm, > I want to thank you for your daily raw inspiration. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this with us, Daniel! I loaded up on that PERFECT AMMO, and showed a few co-workers the video, then the email. I believe they were convinced! -Tiffany Daniel Duke <danielrduke wrote: Here is the Email, I sent: Hi Jinjee and Storm, I want to thank you for your daily raw inspiration. It is much appreciated. Guest guest
We were all at a raw food festival in Portland one year. I think they only had one or two children at the time.
