Guest guest
I believe we should celebrate the small victories in life.... We are having yet another company lunch tomorrow. The planner just came by my desk with a menu that we are to pick from. Bet you will never guess what the choices were?!!?!? There were three salads to pick from!! I realize that does nothing to feed starving children or stop global warming.......... but its a WONDERFUL change of events in my little corner of the world. Guest guest
It would make my day to hear that more people ordered salads than the other junk. COME ON - There's HOPE in your office!!! Congratulations! Don't forget to be really grateful and make a big deal about how much you appreciate it! Guest guest
You know, I work in a hospital where people should be aware of what nutritious food is but the cafeteria is pitiful. The employees beg for the salad bar to be out all year but it's a seasonal thing. If people are given a choice, lots of times they'll choose healthy food over junk. I'd be curious to know how many other people went the salad route, too. Guest guest
I used to work in a hospital and I remember being appaled at the food they served to the workers. Most of it was Fried or served with chips and soda...BLECK...yuck and nasty..lol! We are moving in a few weeks and when I was looking around the new place we are moving to.....I was trying to scope out where the nearest salad bar was. One thing I have done to help me help myself is...... I work at home and to force myself to eat raw and get proper exercise, I found a great salad bar 1.5 miles from my house, and I have been walking there three times a week and having a healthy raw salad, then walking home....I have been seeing great results, now when I move I have to find a new place to walk to. From what I have seen....I may have to walk a bit farther...hmmmm!!!!! Nothing like a challenge!~ jerushy1944 <no_reply > wrote: You know, I work in a hospital where people should be aware of what nutritious food is but the cafeteria is pitiful.
