Guest guest
Well I have decided that I NEED a vitamix. At the moment I feel I can't live without one Plus I will need one to teach my classes. I see a few on ebay at some pretty good prices. I love ebay but I have never purchased any appliances from there. If I buy it new from ebay would it be covered under manufactures warranty? I heard the company was real good about up keep with the vitamix if something goes wrong. What do you guys think? Guest guest
It's up to the individual companies about the warranty, I believe. You could e-mail VitaMix directly and ask. When I got my second L'equip, the speed on it wasn't variable. I e-mailed the seller (sonicdoo) and he sent me another base with no questions asked. Most of the sellers value their positive feedback and will do anything they can to keep their buyers happy. Guest guest
I have been selling on ebay for over 4 years....If you find a vitamix you are considering bidding on, EMAIL the seller. Ask them any and all questions you have and IF they have the warranty info available, (some do)....If the seller does not answer each and every one of your questions in a business like tone, do not buy from them. I also volunteer part time in the answer center on ebay where we answer questions on all topics....you can go there under the " ebay community " button on the top of the page and post as many questions as you want and you will get all kinds of advice. If the seller wont guarnatee you warranty coverage, dont bid....as a lot of auctions are sold and listed as " sold as is " .....by emailing your seller, and reading their response, you can sometimes get a good feeling for who you are dealing with, you can always ask if you can speak to them on the phone and see how they react. Anyone truely in the business to move their item and represent it well, will take the time to answer your questions, if they dont, move on to the next seller. jerushy1944 <no_reply > wrote: I I love ebay but I have never purchased any appliances from there.
