Guest guest
I happened upon the raw lifestyle when trying to find a way to lose weight. I actually have become really excited about it, but also i find it hard to start it. My kids and husband won't go 100% raw, and i want to and seeing as though i cook their foods, temptation gets the best of me! i felt great, for the three days that i did. In fact, the fourth day when i slipped up, i found myself miserable. My whole stomache was cramping, and i felt the heavy food traveling through my system.. i was cramping so bad. Even still, four days into not doing it, i'm having a hard time handling the heaviness of foods. I truly know what my body wants, now.. Its funny how day 2, a simple papaya was like apple pie to me. I am totally excited to get back on the ball, and look forward to talking to other raw food people!!! Kelly in Arizona
Guest guest
Kelly in Arizona! I was supposed to be out there right now but it didn't work out. Eating raw is amazing! I love it! Keep on keeping on. If you " fall off the wagon " , get up and get back to it. This not only helps you lose, it improves your overall health tremendously! Guest guest
Kelly - I have the same problem as you. My husband and two kids do not eat raw. The hardest part is being around when my husband and visitors want to order pizza and chicken wings. What I do is eat MORE raw food so I am absolutely full and try not to let the cravings get the best of me. I think about how dissapointed in myself I'll feel if I give in. ANyway my kids are often eating alot more raw food and veggies because it's what I'm eating. Eventhough I'm cooking for them I still sit down and eat the Raw part of the meal with them. I haven't figured out how to transition the kids yet. I'm still working on myself and that could take some time. Good luck and hang in there!! Guest guest
Tweety- My kids absolutely love the raw foods.. minus the lettuce lol they eat up all of my broccoli, carrots, and fruits! I don't mind it at all, but my fridge is empty by the time i arrive and well.... i don't have any other options like they do. I have ACTUALLY found myself a bit selfish. I can't even believe it myself!!!!!! lol I love that my kids want to eat it with me... i just need to take up a second job to buy out the surpermarket every morning LOL Kelly
Guest guest
I've lost a solid 54 pounds so far. Take it a day at a time and pretty soon it will be second nature.
