Guest guest
I have a sinus infection and I'm doing many things, herbs, neti (on order), and a HUGE increase of garlic! I eat so much garlic I stink up any room I'm in. I went to my uncle's house today. I was talking to my aunt for 5 minutes and when my uncle came in he thought my aunt was cooking something with garlic and there was nothing cooking it was my breath STINKING up his house! I don't want to stop my garlic intake, but I don't want to reek like garlic all the time. What can help? I was thinking chewing on mint leaves might help, but it might not be strong enough. I don't know. What can I do???? Minnie
Guest guest
It's my understanding that the odour de garlique lessens as you detoxify? I'd say keep up with it. If I smell garlic it makes me hungry! lol -Raine minnie9090 wrote: > I have a sinus infection and I'm doing many things, herbs, neti (on > order), and a HUGE increase of garlic! Guest guest
Minnie, parsley is supposed to help with food-induced halitosis. The only other thing I would think that would work is what you said you don't want to do, and that's cut out the garlic. To tell the truth, garlic isn't part of the optimal raw food diet. Doug Graham advises against its use because of the toxins present. If you disagree with this, take it up with him. Guest guest
Minnie, A number of years ago i used a garlic supplement that actually had parsley in it to help with the odor. You might try eating a little parsley when you have garlic and see if that helps. Guest guest
Hi Minnie – I’m new to the group, and wanted to reply because I had a horrendous sinus infection two weeks ago. I did garlic and the neti pot, but it was still hanging around. I finally purchased some colloidal silver, and would squirt it up my nose. It took only a couple of days for the intense pounding to go down, and within a week, the infection was completely gone. I hth! Guest guest
I think you are eating too much garlic. It may not be coming form your breath but fom your pores. If a little is good it does not mean a lot is better. Reduce your intake youl'll still get the benefits.
