Guest guest
Hello again everyone.... Last week I asked if anyone had any idea why I would have been feeling so bad after eating.... Long story short, they (Dr's) believe it to be my gallbladder. I have all the symptoms, but they aren't going to be able to do an ultra sound on it until the end of the month. Does anyone know of any information or ways to heal or flush out the gallbladder. I realize I dont know a lot about this and I'm not sure what to ask. The research I did do, suggests a high fiber, low fat diet. (which is what I thought I was doing by being raw....but obviously my body doesn't agree...LOL) I notice my symptoms are worse if I have any kinda fat at all..this includes avocados or olive oil or nuts. I have been drinking fruit smoothies in the morning and they dont bug me too much. So until the ultra sound, I want to focus on just high fiber smoothies. I usually drink banana and strawberries with a bit of spinach thrown in. What other combos are good that dont have a high acidic level....(they haven't ruled out an ulcer....*sigh*...) Any help or opinions would be welcome...but please don't suggest the master cleanser as I had a very bad reaction to that and cant put myself through that right now as I am in the middle of moving this week and cant rest the way you should when doing the MC.... Thanks!!!!! New Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC and save big.

Guest guest
Hi, Dobby! I have GB disease and have done some gallbladder flushes but there is some disagreement about them. Some people say that the " stones " that are passed are actually the olive oil that has congealed and not really anything that was stored there. Since I've been eating raw, I haven't done any more flushes and I've been doing fine. You don't have to have any overt fat to thrive on raw food. It might get a little monotonous without it but you could live until the end of the month when you have the ultrasound. _If_ you have an ulcer, you might consider not mixing your strawberries (acid) with bananas (sweet). I mix bananas and greens for my smoothies and throw in whatever sweet or sub-acid fruit I have. Keep us posted on your progress! Guest guest
I was just talking to somebody about the gallbladder flush yesterday, and I'm on the fence about it myself. It makes sense that at the very least, some of what you pass is olive oil. I usually pass a few small gallstones when I fast, and they look exactly the same as what the results of a gallbladder flush look like, so my feeling is that you probably get rid of some of both when you do one. Were you facing surgery, Tommie? I know someone who had hers removed a couple of years ago (she was about 26 at the time). I had a conversation with her about trying the flush and a couple of other things before she had it out, but she was dead set on surgery. Anyhow, I'm just curious about what kind of shape you were in when you started doing the flush and the results you got (before altering your diet). Thanks Bridgitte rawfood , " Tommie " <jerushy wrote: > > Hi, Dobby! I have GB disease and have done some gallbladder flushes > but there is some disagreement about them. Guest guest
Hi, Bridgette! I'd had a really bad gallbladder attack that kept me awake after 5 am after eating a small cup of Moosetracks ice cream. If you've never had it, it has very rich vanilla ice cream laced with fudge sauce and peanut butter cups. A gallbladder attack/heart attack in a spoon! Then, when I went to my mother's house to celebrate her 100th birthday, I ate a grilled rice cheese sandwich for breakfast and was miserable the rest of the day. That's when I decided to ask my doctor to order an unltrasound. My regular doctor was out of town when the results came back that I had enough stones to " make a necklace " . His sister who is a surgeon was covering for him. She was ready to put me in the hospital and take it out but I said no. I don't like to be pushed and she was to the point of shoving. That's when I started investigating my options. I found instructions for flushes on curezone but they all seemed to be traumatic so I found http://www.sensiblehealth.com/gallbladder.html. I ordered some of the Gold Coin Grass and took it as instructed, then did the flush. A few " stones " came out and I was okay until the next episode. I repeated the flush several times but would still have pain. The hospital where I work acquired a new ultrasound machine and the supervisor of the department picked me to practice on. She isn't qualified to read the films but she's of the opinion that my gallbladder is calcified. I freaked out after I read all of the stuff I could find on the WWW. I didn't tell any of my family about it or they would have had me in the hospital under the knife immediately. I had been eating raw for eight months at the time and hadn't been having any symptoms. I confided in Roger who told me to get in touch with Doug Graham which I did. His advice was not to let anyone talk me into anything that wasn't necessary. I've let it alone since then. My ultrasound was the end of February. I'm in no position to advise you but I firmly believe that our bodies can heal themselves if we let them. Let us know what you decide! Guest guest
I'm probably going to do a flush at some point - I'm not in much of a hurry I figure that if i'm passing them when i fast, i'm getting rid of what i need to get rid of. I don't understand why doctors think our organs are dispensable...good for you for hanging on to yours Bridgitte rawfood , " Tommie " <jerushy wrote: > > Hi, Bridgette! Guest guest
Years ago when a doctor wanted to do gall bladder surgery on me I did a cleanse with the help of my alternative physican I was using at the time. I was shocked at all the stones I passed. Since then I have done various cleanses on my own and have never had any problems. In fact I know they work as I had a test a couple of years ago that proved my gall bladder was doing well... no stones. My father had gall bladder surgery back in the '60s and I appear to be the only of his three children that have followed this gall bladder path. I am the only one of the three children that would not have done the surgery!! So along with all the other things we choose to do to insure good health I also recommend this be added as frequently as you feel you need. Trish Burrows P.O. Guest guest
I dont want to be gross or anything here, but I dont know much about this.....does it hurt when they pass? Will you definately know you are passing one? And are these pee'd out or the other way? I want to get ahead of this so that I dont have to even HEAR the word surgery as I have a deathly fear of hospitals and shudder to even think about going under any knife.... If I stick with high fiber and as close to zero fat as possible, will my body naturally start to flush some of this out? I read the one post about flushes, but that was the lemonade flush and I cant take the acidity of lemons right now... Thanks agian for all the great input you guys are wonderfull! Guest guest
BMs and it didn't hurt. Trish Burrows P.O. Guest guest
I was 17 when i had my gallbladder removed. I wish i had known there was an alternative. The only alternative the dr disclosed was to wait and SEE if i had another attack. The first one was enough for me to never risk that again, i signed that paper like it was the lottery!! lol Kelly
Guest guest
It doesn't hurt. You can feel them coming out of the gallbladder but it's more of a sensation than pain. You poop them out in your stool. As for the lemon juice, that's what is called for with the flush I did. I mixed 1/4 C each lemon juice and olive oil and drank four doses of it 15 minutes apart. You can no doubt find something out there that doesn't call for lemon. For myself, I'm just eating a good raw diet and I'm going to let that be that. I believe that your body will heal itself if you stick to the high fiber low fat diet. You can't get NO fat unless you are just eating dates. Everything else I know of has some fat just as it has some protein but if you stay away from nuts, seeds, and avocados, you'll have close to 5-7% fat and that isn't much at all. Guest guest
I see some of the messages talk about the liver/gallbladder flush/cleansing, which is what I recommend too. I try to do it `at least' once a month, although it's better to do every 2 to 3 weeks, which is what I `try' to do. I have done at least 10. My allergies symptoms started improving after about 3 or 4 cleanses, plus other things. I still have more to go. I never had gall pain, but many get rid of their immediate pain after only one flush, but it needs to be done until they're all cleared out. During the active cleansing mode it should be done every 2 or 3 weeks, eventually stones will stop coming out. After 2 or 3 flushes of no stones then it should be done a few times a year. I forget exact number, I'll have to look it up when I get to that point, because now I get stones out every time so far. Each flush is different. I just did one last night and it was very successful. They are usually green stones made of cholesterol, which probably every person has, unless they actively clean them out. The black calcified ones who only some have take more time, these are the ones that often cause the pain. But getting rid of just some of the green cholesterol one takes pressure off the organ. The black calcified ones come out after the newer ones such as the green cholesterol stones come out. So it may take many flushes to get to the black ones. Everyone is different some only need a dozen cleanses for 6 months or so and some need 4 times that much. I obviously think it is worth it, especially if I was faced with surgery, which lucky for me I'm not. Surgery can always be post-poned but a gallbladder can never be put back in! Scroll down to the different kinds of flushes and read which might be best for you. I do the first one. It's the most popular. But the last one (the 9th one) with the grandma is a great story! http://curezone.com/cleanse/liver/default.asp Some mentioned the skepticism some have, well I did a test in the past and I posted my results here: http://curezone.com/forums/m.asp?f=447 & i=26921 Hope this helps.
