Guest guest
Hi All, Does anyone want to share a weekly/monthly shoping trip? Like about how much and what you buy each week and what items you stock up on or only buy monthly? I am increasing raw foods and slowly tranisitioning my family and I thought by looking at other's shopping patterns, perhaps I could mimic things, and as I slowly drop some of my normal purchases add things I hadn't thought of as " raw staples " . Thanks! Tiffany
Guest guest
Right now I'm living off of water melon and I can buy two large watermelons and they will last me the best part of a week. Guest guest
YUMMY! I wish I could do that but I alway end up eating so much fruit and then eat other stuff too. I wish I could just stop after the fruit, but I am so hungry. Perhaps it is because I have 2 kids and am nursing and am just so darn hungry! Guest guest
Thanks Tommie! ya know, I just realized that eating raw takes a lot longer. I know that sounds strange, but I am used to gobbling down a meal while the kids do something not too destructive, but by eating raw you really have to take your time. It takes me at least an hour to eat lunch! So I seem to just graze on raw veggies and such all day and try to eat a big salad once a day. Oh and fruit all morning. - " Tommie " <jerushy <rawfood > Saturday, May 13, 2006 8:48 PM Re: [Raw Food] shopping list Tiffany, eat up! If you are nursing, you need more calories!
