Guest guest
<<<<DON'T THROW IT AWAY!!! That's what all the rest of us who don't live close to a Whole Foods would love to have! It's also a young coconut or a baby coconut. They are so good for you and they are delicious, too. You can use the soft meat in smoothies or cut it in thin strips and eat it like " pasta " . Wish I had the same " problem " you do!>>>> Tommie, this just was NOT edible! Honestly, there was NO soft inside at all . The whole thing was hard and bitter. Not a hint of an relation to a coconut. I just don't get the attraction. People actually EAT it this way ??? Ps- its in the compost pile....LOL! Donna Anne
Guest guest
No, Donna Anne. You must've gotten hold of one that was spoiled. You did the right thing to throw that one away. I hope it didn't turn you against them for good! Tommie http://www.rawburchard.blogspot.com rawfood , " Donna Masi " <TribalFantasyDesigns > wrote: > > <<<<DON'T THROW IT AWAY!!! Guest guest
My first Thai cocnut experience today was not good. I opened it according to the directions online and lots of brownish watery stuff came out. Inside was very little white meat and it smelled a bit spoiled. It did not look anything like the white-filled on in the picture! Susan
Guest guest
Tommie - I have actually gotten many a coconut with purpleish water in it. They get dumped immediately and I go back and get free ones. Judy On 5/20/06, Tommie <jerushy wrote: > > No, Donna Anne. You must've gotten hold of one that was spoiled.
