Hi Everyone,

I am very new to raw foods, and I need lots of support as my husband

is about as uncrunchy as you can get (although he is a really

wonderful person). I tried making coconut milk/pudding but all I

suceeded in making was finely chopped coconut. I was using a Black &

Decker Crush Master. Or maybe it just takes a little finesse? All

advice is welcome.

Thanks

Hello!

I can totally relate--my husband and my son don't eat raw and have

no intention of eating raw any time soon, either. I have them

eating more veggies and fruit, though, and having green smoothies

every morning, so that's something! :)

I also tried to do the pudding and it was awful. I think the secret

is the thai coconut--if you look through last weeks discussion, we

talked about how different people have a hard time finding them.

Good luck!

Any blender will do because you strain it in a muslin bag when you're

done...you're not going to get a smooth nut milk unless you do.

The more raw fruit and veggies you can get into them, the better.

Keep increasing it and sneaking it in where you can. They won't know

what hit them!

OHHH! That makes sense! Why don't they tell you that in the

cookbooks? I bought 2 of them!

Thanks so much!
