In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, and mix in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just to combine. Cover the batter and set it aside at room temperature to rise for 1 1/2 hours. Set the table and get ready for fun eating. Preheat the waffle iron.
