Guest guest Posted April 13, 2002 Report Share Posted April 13, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Aunt Fannie's Green Tomato Relish Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pickles & Relishes Sauces, Marinades, Glazes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 gallons green tomatoes 1/2 gallon white onions --or red (not sweet or yellow) 1/2 quart banana peppers 1/2 quart red peppers 1/2 cup salt 1/2 gallon white vinegar 4 cups sugar 3 tablespoons black pepper Chop all of the vegetables pretty finely, maybe even in the food processor, and set aside. In a stockpot, combine all the remaining ingredients and stir well until dissolved. Add the vegetables to the liquid and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pack in quart jars as usual for canning.
