Savory Sautéed Fresh Mushrooms

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 pound fresh mushrooms

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1 cup minced onions

1/2 cup chopped parsley

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

 

YIELD: 8 portions

 

Rinse, pat dry and halve fresh mushrooms; set aside. In a large skillet

melt butter. Add onions and sauté for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and sauté

for 5 minutes. Stir in parsley lemon juice, salt and black pepper. Serve

hot over toasted sliced French bread.
