Guest guest Posted June 4, 2002 Report Share Posted June 4, 2002 xpost elf, veg * Exported from MasterCook * Fruity Yogurt Ice Pops Recipe By :Taste of Home's Light & Tasty magazine, June/July 2002 Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Freezer Snacks Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups strawberry yogurt -- reduced fat 8 ounces crushed pineapple -- unsweetened 1 tablespoon honey Optional: 2 drops red food coloring -- to 3 drops In a food processor or blender, combine the yogurt, pineapple, honey and food coloring if desired; cover and process until smooth. Pour 1/4 cupfulls into 10 plastic molds or 3-oz. paper cups; top with holders or insert wooden sticks. Freeze until firm, about 8 hours or overnight. Yield: 10 servings. According to magazine: one equals 61 calories, trace fat (trace sat fat), 4 mg cholesterol, 24 mg sodium, 13 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 2 g protein. Diabetic Exchange: 1 fruit.
