Hi, all,

If you're referring to the Italian and the Bratwurst Sausages, they are *both*

absolutely wonderful! I've found the best way to cook them is the suggestion on

the box...simmer in water 10 minutes, then brown.

If you've used the Yves Just Like Ground Italian sausage, be aware that they

discontinued the Italian and re-named it Mexican. I'm sure it will be just as

good, but I've always enjoyed the Italian in my hot spaghetti sauce. I think

Morningstar discontinued the Sausage crumbles, too. Boca makes an Italian

sausage crumble that I will have to try, but I always liked Yves because it was

vegan.

New on the market: Wholesoy Frozen Soy Yogurt. Treat yourself to a container if

your store carries it! It is really good. Comes in black cherry, caramel creme,

vanilla, and (my favorite) chocolate hazelnut. Vegan.

They are delicious! I have tried nearly every vegetarian hot dog out

there and hated every one of them. I was always a hot dog junkie - for

me, the ultimate comfort food. The only meat or meat products I have

ever missed eating were hot dogs and bacon.

I tried a smoked sausage and voila - one yummy veg dog. I could not

believe how hot dog-like they are. If somebody had served it to me

at a party and I did not know they were really Boca products, I would

have been quite upset - that's how good they are. The Italian sausage

are also absolutely delicious and properly seasoned.

I have tried using them in dishes, like cut up in mac and cheese. A

suggestion, cook first and put them in at the very end. IMO they do

not hold up enough flavor or texture wise for a good result.

Now if only somebody would come up with something resembling bacon

that tastes that good... I do not like the Morningstar Farms version

at all. Blech.
