Hi everyone!! This is an odd request- and has not much to do with

" vegetarian recipes " per se, but advise on what to make for someone. I'm

fairly young- 26, and I have a good friend/co-worker who's mother ( only 54)

is passing slowly from a brain tumor.. My friend and his father are coming

to terms with it, as she now has hospice care coming into the home and

everything. It's very sad.. I asked what i could do to help- and " food " was

about the only answer! haha Apparently mom did all the cooking and these

guys are going to be up a creek without mom's cookin...

Another friend co-worker of mine & I want to cook up some stuff for

them- they are NOT veggie. Infact- my friend won't even EAT a vegetable he

says.. lol.. So my dilemma is- what can I make for these guys? My friend

will probably make chicken and potato salad and such.. I thought i'd make

them some pesto sauce ( he'll probably hate that too) maybe mac and cheese??

( can you beleive this is all people eat??lol)

Anyone has some " comfort food " recipes that won't make me cook meat , and

that meat & potatos people might like. I also thought it might be smart to

make something that freezes well so that they can heat it up at a later date

or lunches on the go or something..? any ideas there?? lasagna i guess..

everyone lieks that. any thing else??

I thought desert- but I just didn't want to get too festive...??? is that

the wrong idea though? maybe they would like desert/cookies?
