Guest guest
Aloha - I am running into a problem importing the recopies I am receiving on this list. I used to use Netscape mail and it was easy there - I just highlighted and saved all the emails at once as a text file and then imported the text file to MC. Now I am using Outlook Express and I can't find anywhere in the program to be able to save all the recopies in the folder at once. The only other option I see in Outlook Express is saving each recipe individually as an html file but I have over 1000 recopies in my Veg-Recipes folder! Arrggghhh! Do I need to cut and paste each recipe into a combined text file and import that? There has to be a simpler way to do this. Maybe I should have stuck with Netscape Mail LOL! Thanks in advance for any suggestions - Cathi

Guest guest
I don't use OE -- but below is the info i've saved about it. I use eudora. tips: make sure the recipes are in plain text before converting. better yet -- use a program like notetab pro and copy the message and paste it into ntp -- which will convert it to plain text. here's my file on oe ... " Here's how I do it: Save the email as a text file. Individual emails can be saved or many can be saved into one file. Highlight the email(s) and select file|save as. The text file can then be processed through MC-Tagit or imported directly into MasterCook. or-- You can group e-mails and save them to one file in Outlook Express. Just go highlight the messages you want to group and click on Message in the toolbar on top. Then click Combine and Decode in the menu. All of the messages you highlighted will be combined. You can then save them as one file and import lots of recipes into MasterCook at once. -----------
