I still have my cast iron and use it alot but I got a

set of 18/10 stainless steel cookware last year that I

love. I got it at K-Mart under the Martha Stewart

Every Day name. It was a 7 pc set and it cost less

than $80. I love it. I cook almost everything in it

and it cleans very easily. I just let stuff that is

stuck on sit for awhile in some water and it comes

right off.

 

If you have a K-Mart that is still open near you, try

there. Great values. I may not be thrilled with Martha

herself, but her cookware is great. So are her kitchen

gadgets.

 

Otherwise, if you have HSN or QVC, I've heard that the

Ultrex cookware is terrific and also the line that QVC

puts out. I wouldn't spend a fortune on it, especially

if you cook a lot, like I do. I find nonstick ends up

peeling (no matter how much I spend on it), you really

shouldn't cook with it if you are using no oil as that

is what makes the coating peel off (that is what I've

heard from some professionals).

 

Anyway, good luck finding new cookware. I know it is a

bit of a chore finding good cookware for small prices,

but I hope you find some you like.
