Guest guest Posted August 18, 2002 Report Share Posted August 18, 2002 this one has no cholesterol but is 12 g fat but I''m not sure of the fat. i've estimated nutrition on full fat mushroom gravy and veggie soy burgers. not sure how close those are to the things we would buy. in other words, not to take the nutritional analysis too literally. ok? * Exported from MasterCook * Shepherd’s Pie Morningstar Farms Recipe By :PETA Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 medium potatoes -- diced 2 tablespoons margarine 1/2 cup soy milk or liquid nondairy creamer Salt and pepper -- to taste 12 ounces Morningstar Farms burger crumbles 8 ounces vegetarian mushroom gravy -- (or 1 can) 8 ounces mixed peas and carrots -- drained (1 small can) salt garlic powder pepper cayenne pepper Preheat the oven to 350F. Boil the potatoes for 20 minutes, or until tender. Drain and mash with the margarine and soy milk or nondairy creamer. Add salt and pepper, to taste. In a medium bowl, mix the crumbles, mushroom gravy, peas, carrots, and spices. Pour into a pie pan. Top with the potatoes, spreading the potatoes to the edges of the pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the potatoes are browned.
