Guest guest Posted August 19, 2002 Report Share Posted August 19, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Not Shrimp Scampi Recipe By :Animal Times 2001 Spring: Faux Fish Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 12 ounces linguine 3/4 cup margarine 1 pound vegetarian shrimp/prawn 4 garlic cloves -- minced 2 tablespoons lemon juice 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley Salt and pepper -- to taste Preheat the oven to 400F. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the pasta. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain. Put the margarine in a large glass baking dish and heat in the oven until the margarine melts. Add the vegetarian shrimp, garlic and lemon juice and stir. Return the dish to the oven and bake for 3 minutes. Stir in the parsley and continue baking for 2 more minutes, or until the shrimp are heated through. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the pasta to a large bowl. Add the shrimp mixture and toss to combine. Serve immediately.
