According to the chart on the package, its nutritional profile is roughly equivalent to that of regular brown rice. Quick Brown Rice cooks up fluffy and a bit dry, so this product works best when served with a soupy topping like curry or chili, or a stew that has lots of sauce. Combine the rice, water, and salt (if using) in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and boil, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and let stand, uncovered, for 2 mintues. Fluff up and serve.
