Thai Cabbage Apple Slaw

2 gala apples -- cored, cut into matchsticks

3 cups shredded green cabbage

2 tablespoons sesame seeds -- toasted

2 tablespoons chopped peanuts

THAI SESAME DRESSING:

1/4 cup rice vinegar

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

1/4 teaspoon salt

 

In a large bowl, combine apples and cabbage. Mix all dressing ingredients and

toss with apple mixture (Chill for at least 11 hour to blend flavors, or up to

12 hours.) Garnish with sesame seeds and peanuts.
