If you've never tasted fresh figs, you are in for a treat. Miriam * Exported from MasterCook * Fig Salad Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 fresh figs -- quartered 4 fresh tomatoes (or equivalent cherry tomatoes) -- cut in eighths 1 handful fresh basil -- chopped fine 6 cups salad greens of your choice (the baby lettuces are nice) 1/2 cup Greek olives -- pitted and sliced 4 ounces goat cheese -- crumbled 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 2 tablespoons olive oil salt and pepper -- to taste Add figs, tomatoes (use more than 4 if desired,) basil, olives and goat cheese to the salad greens. Mix, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper together and pour over the salad. Toss well and enjoy!
