Guest guest Posted October 7, 2002 Report Share Posted October 7, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Tofu with Oyster Sauce Recipe By :Weight Watchers Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 3Main Meals Tofu {Posted} Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 cup oyster sauce 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon canola oil 3 medium garlic clove -- or to taste, minced 1 pound zucchini -- sliced 1/4 cup water 15 ounces straw mushrooms -- (canned) 16 ounces firm tofu -- drained and sliced Mix oyster and soy sauces; set aside. Heat a 10 or 12-inch skillet over medium high heat; add oil (off burner) and heat until hot. Add garlic and stir once or twice. Add zucchini and stir to coat with oil. Add water, bring to a simmer, lower heat, cover, and cook zucchini to desired doneness. Check to see that pan doesn't cook dry; add additional water as needed. Add mushrooms; stir and cook until heated through. Add tofu; stir gently and cook until heated through. Add sauces; stir gently to coat tofu and veggies. Yields about 1 cup per serving.
