Bon Ton Salad Dressing

My husband and I just returned from a trip to New Orleans. While

there, we particularly enjoyed an old Cajun cafe, called the Bon Ton

.. This salad dressing was fantastic, although a little goes a long

way. I plan on making this at home soon.

Bon Ton Salad Dressing

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 egg

3 tablespoons Creole mustard

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

3 tablespoons Lee & Perrins Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon chopped garlic

4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

2 teaspoons horseradish

1/3 cup dark vinegar

1 cup olive oil

 

Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl, except olive oil. Whip until

thoroughly mixed. Pour olive oil in, slowly, while whipping

vigorously.
