Preheat oven to 400F. Make up the stuffing mix according to the packet instructions. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion and mushrooms until browned. Stir into the stuffing mix and leave to cool. 2. Unroll the pastry and cut each sheet into three thin strips (along the folds). Spoon the stuffing mix in a line lengthwise down the center of each strip. Brush the edges with egg, fold over the pastry to enclose the filling and seal the edges well. 3. GOAL: 8 pieces per strips (48 pieces total): With a knife, mark (but do not cut) 8 pieces. Slash the tops of the rolls with criss-cross lines equally to mark the centers of the 8 pieces. Now cut crosswise into 8 pieces. Arrange on oiled baking sheets and brush with beaten egg. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden and well risen. Serve warm or cold. TIPS - * Make ahead and reheat. * Use leftover stuffing. BBC Estimate: 46 cals; 0.2g fiber; 5g carbs; 3g fat.
