Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

1 1/2 teaspoon butter or margarine

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 eggs separated

1/2 cup soft bread crumbs firmly packed

4 tablespoons powdered milk

1/2 cup water

4 eggs

While mixing the ingredients, put the margarine in a skillet on low to moderate

heat. Separate the whites from the eggs. Add the salt and whip until stiff but

not dry (you don't want the whites to be able to slide from the bowl when

tipped). Whisk the yolks with a fork until uniform. Add dried milk, soft bread

crumbs and water together and stir well. Mix or fold together thoroughly. Use a

spatula to spread the margarine evenly in the skillet. Next, pour the mixture

into the skillet evenly. Cover and let cook for 20 minutes or until the top is

dry. Poke a fork in the center to be sure the omelet is cooked through. The fork

will come out clean.

Top with your choice of jam or syrup.
