Guest guest
Hi Guys I am wondering whereI can get a copy of this Mastercook software? And what exactly is Mastercook format? How long has It been out of production? What was the last version? And is there some other newer software that's compatable that I can migrate to? I know...lots of questions.... I have been thinking I would like to have a TV/Computer monitor in my new kitchen. I could look up a recipe, watch a soap opera, Surf the net and see who is comming up the driveway all at the same time. My Aunt Roberta http://12.158.117.40/pictures/AuntRobrtaC.jpg had a great time at the Thanksgiving party at the old folks home. The Cranberry / Calamondon relish was well liked again this year by the old folks. I cooked it up the night before at her house. Ref to MSG # 23159 http://192.168.7.40/pictures/Calamondon.jpg SO now it's time to think of what I can cook up for Xmas. I'm not sure that I can cook up much because I don't know if I will have the Kitchen done by then. http://12.158.117.40/pictures/MVC-008F.JPG http://12.158.117.40/pictures/MVC-009F.JPG I don't even have the sink or stove installed yet. Well this past weekend my cousin Bill came for a visit. He helped me with Christmas lights. I took down my Giant Turkey Thing last week so it was time to put up some Xmas lights. There is some competition in my neighborhood for the lights and.. Well I would never get involved in that.. BUT! I did start with twelve of the nine-foot strands of " Swag Lights " across the front of my house.. http://12.158.117.40/pictures/xhouse1.jpg then when I went to buy the timer and some extension cords...Hmmm that 7 foot lighted tree looks good.. http://12.158.117.40/pictures/xhouse2.jpg .. Well I need MORE.. I mean.. after all you can hardly see the front doors. http://12.158.117.40/pictures/xhouse3.jpg SO! I bought 10 strands of colored lights for the bushes out front last night. AND.. I looked at the big lighted Santa and the Frosty Snow Guy and the Raindeer.... What do you think?????? to much? How about just two or eight more lighted trees? I think I better stop now I gess I am getting a little off this recipe format. Scotty
Guest guest
first off -- mc is NOT out of production. The new owners of the product came out with 6.02 recently. The new owner is valusoft If you have a pc -- you can buy the latest version 6.02 from http://www.valusoft.com/navigation/home-office.html If you have a mac that can run windows, mastercook 6.02 works fine. If you have a MAC and want a mac version -- then you need to hunt down a copy of mastercook 4.07 -- that's the one that is out of print BUT can be hunted down in sale bins and ebay. Version 6 is an improved version 5 and 5 is different from version 4. to see reviews of the software go here http://home.earthlink.net/~kitpath/MC/MCSupport.htm#Reviews Format? check the messages that are posted here. The software will import a recipe that looks like this: >* Exported from MasterCook * > >recipe title here > >Recipe By : author >Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 >Categories : Vegetarian > >Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method >-------- ------------ -------------------------------- pat .. =^..^= kitPatH Healthy Flavors Cookbook MC; links; SCAN-guage <http://home.earthlink.net/~kitpath/>
